The Emergence of De-globalisation

The Emergence of De-globalisation

The threat of de-globalisation looms large, especially in the wake of recent developments such as the Presidential elections in the US, Brexit and a heightened sense of xenophobia. This issue must be tackled on an urgent basis as it poses a danger, both to the progressive path of development on all fronts and the strides made in imbuing a common set of humane values. The benefits of integration and interconnectedness of different countries should reach all the sections of the society in an equitable and just manner. Governments should address the security concerns of their citizens whilst not ignoring those of other parties involved
