The Journey

The Journey

It was windy, till the end
For hours and hours
Hills called for us,
Rivers craved for us,
And the trees sang for us.
So we danced on the road,
Whiskey in our hand,
In the god’s own abode,
On marches our band.
Then I heard the bird say,
In this beauty around you,
you’ll listen yourself out,
Silence let’s your hue,
Speak a thousand colours, a rout.
Road wants you to clamber up,
To the gateways of heaven, new.
Each road you pass by, each rough,
You get closer to you.
Reach the peak,
you’ll come to know,
It’s you who you seek,
And when it ends, the snow,
You’ll swear to leave,
Footmarks for eternity,
The next journey you weave,
Which will echo throughout the city.
And it would be windy, all the time, till the end
