Sailor in the sea

Sailor in the sea

A ship in the sea.

Alone in the waters unless,

The Companions on the under side

Decide you are worthy;

To stay afloat.

Just a piece of wood and

Pounds of flesh,

Stick together for voyage,

Demanding the knowledge;

Of the land beyond.

Brave and daring,

On the deck with ‘oculars.

To find places,

That fill sheets of maps.

Waves do crash and

Storms do come.

To return home,

With a stronger heart;

Is what makes the journey

A voyage.
