One Last Day

One Last Day

”We will write a book on us” she said. The next day was the day when both of them were going off for the holidays with their families. The day was passing with scary and disturbing thoughts. It’s obvious that nobody likes goodbyes. All that they wanted was a happy goodbye. He knew that this was just a temporary bye which is all normal and will be back to regular after some days. But we all know when someone gets so close enough that he/she can count the heart beats, its difficult to see them going away from us even for a while. They were unable to talk to each other daily on phone as others do. All they can do was long and late night internet chats. Next morning the day was perfect for outing but it was a dull day for both of them. Someone has said ”To see the rainbow, you have to face the storm”. That’s all they did. She came out with a dull face and with her luggage as she was leaving before. He came out, saw her, smiled at her. She was shocked with his this expression thinking that why he is so good today instead. He smiled because he knew that soon she will be getting a surprise of their meeting again. She left for the day and soon he left too. After some days she came and stood out of her house near her vehicle wondering that if he would have came early before me. “What? Is that you Mini? i can’t believe” she said. Yes my Mickey. He came back a day ago only to give her surprise that they are back. And again they were to their routine late night chats. That ”one last day” made them strong enough to see off each other whenever he/she went out. That’s what their love kept them binding together for every single step in their life choosing their priorities.
