It is said that a good book is like a teacher but a good friend is a library itself. A friend can be a companion, a guide and a motivator. Having good friends in life is a blessing. A true friend is better than having many friends.
In this age of technology, we have hundreds of friends on social networking sites but very few friends to help in need. Gone are the days when people used to meet face to face and exchange their feelings, problems, experiences. The idea of true friendship is diminishing day by day. A text message or group chat can never be equivalent to talking with friends. There are times when we can’t share our problems with our family members then having a true friend whom we can trust can be very helpful.
A true friend is the one gives you the correct advice and takes you in the right direction. He or she will do anything to help you when required.
He may tease you in front of everyone but he can never hear anything against you. In life we meet many people in school, college and at work place but a few stay with us forever. These few are our well wishers. Man is known by the company he keeps, thus we should be careful while making friends. ’A true friend is the one who walks in when the rest of the world walks out’.
