“Honours me bahut scope hai beta”

“beta Kya Karna hai aage”

“Aunty acting Karna Socha hai”

“Acting me Kya hai, honours kar bahut scope hai. Aur tere pass to Maths bhi hai, vo Sharma Ji ka beta hai na eco Hons kar Raha hai …….. “

Lots and lots of dreams have been shattered only because of “sirf honours, doctor, engineer or 10+2 Maths hai to scope hai and baki careers are nothing”

In this 21st century, why to pressurised young minds to do those jobs which everyone appreciates or which is popular or which gives you lots of money or you can say placement ache hai college like Baad.

Why not children on their own decide their career? If they are the future of our country, why don’t let them choose their own what they want to do?

Okay, I understand these popular careers have lots of money but will the money be the only source for your children to live their life.

There are many children in this world who become doctor or engineer only because they were pressurised to do so. But in those children an artist died, a dancer died, a singer died, a cricketer died and the list goes on.

Children should be guided by their parents but should not be pressurised by them. Parents should also see that their children are also humans with their own desires and dream. But if they pressurise them then a point will come when they are unable to handle the pressure of unfulfilled dreams and thus lead to lack of motivation and confidence and sometimes take wrong steps such as suicide.

  1. At last I want to conclude by saying that don’t put your child in a cage created by your aspects and dreams. Let your child follow their interest. Let them fly and let them be free to choose their own career.
