Smart India Hackathon 2k17 17

Going out of the box is always fun and the brighest minds are always in search of such a moment. So there’s an opportunity for all those aspiring innovators to showcase their talent by finding tech solutions for problems faced by various Union Ministries within 36 hours.
An event named “Smart India Hackathon 2017” is being held, 25 colleges are made nodal centre for the same and JECRC Foundation is one of them. Government of India will solve 598 problems of 29 ministries.
Hackathon is marathon of computer programming challenge where students have to solve day to day problem by creating software that would address educational issue. Prime minister Shri Narendra Modi will be encouraging those fanatic students; through video conferencing on April,1 i.e. the opening day of SIH, around 11pm; to think out of the box and get to solution. It will be inaugurated by central MHRD minister Shri Prakash Javadekar on the same day at 8pm.
Most amazing thing is that it will be added in the list of Guinness World record and our college JECRC would also be a part of it. Also world class IT companies like 7 percent, IBM Nescom, etc would be supporting this.
10,000 students would be creating app and the amazing and innovative mind would get the prize money of Rs 75k.
It would be a proud moment for any JECRCian as JECRC is the only nodal centre in Jaipur and it has been given ministries in department of commerce and industry and ministry of communication. 400 students will be marking their presence in JECRC for this event. It’s like having a feather in one’s cap.
Our foundation follows the belief – ” When education sees its course, a dream opens its eyes”. And again another opportunity is being provided to students to participate in Smart India Hackathon, to showcase their talent and to be in such environment, to think out of the box.
