After Dalits, Maya looses Anti-BJP Camp’s trust

Lucknow: What seems to be yet another political coup in the Anti-BJP camps. The Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) Chief Mayawati has now drawn back her support from the Rashtriya Janta Dal (RJD) Chief Lalu Prasad’s Anti-BJP (Anti-Bhartiya Janta Party) rally in Patna on August 27, leaving everyone startled.

Mayawati’s drawing back its support from the rally has created many doubts among the opposition parties who have been planning to destroy the surging Saffron Camp ahead of 2019 Lok Sabha elections.

In fact it was RJD Chief Lalu Yadav who offered BSP Chief Mayawati a Rajya Sabha seat from Bihar who resigned from the Upper house in the protest of not being allowed to speak on the atrocities on Dalits.

Lalu who has been working grossly in gathering opposition parties to express a solidarity and fight back against the Saffron Camp may get jolted, as Maya’s move may potentially prove to be a setback for him.

However both Maya and Lalu have been squarely accusing the NDA government for misusing the national agencies like CBI and ED to harass political opponents.

Also, Mayawati who was eagerly wanting to join hands with the Anti-BJP camp gave her first clear feelers during the time of Presidential elections when she attended the Anti-BJP lunch over meeting hosted by Congress President Soniya Gandhi in New Delhi. Mayawati had then agreed to support UPA’s Vice-president Candidate Gopal Krishna Gandhi.

It is now that BSP Chief Mayawati has set back her support from the Anti-BJP camp, speculations have been revolving in the political aisles that Maya along with its arc rival SP (Samajwadi Party) is interested in joining hands with the Grand BJP, which has covered almost the North India with the Saffron colour.
