Hand in hand they walked in the dark,
Winter air sent a shiver,
Beneath the frost flickered their spark,
Cupid had emptied his quiver!
To their right the turquoise sky,
Left the streak of lamps,
Long they strode as time flew by,
She forgot about her cramps
Up they saw the white cratered beacon,
Their heart sprung with joy,
His smile made her legs to weaken,
Little did she know of his ploy!
She latched him in her soul’s locket,
For her did his bosom melt,
He pulled a box from his back pocket,
Under the moonlight he knelt!
