The Swacch Bharat campaign initiated by our honorable Prime Minister Manmohan Singh is yet again making the rounds all over the world with its new appealing and influential novel AD which is named ” Khat Aaya Hai”.
We all are well versed with the campaign’s main objective which came into force with the timeline of five years. The new persuasive AD talks about the dirt which is catapulted everywhere by the common man without realizing the dire consequences our country has been facing. It shows a mailman talking to a man sweeping the road about the inhuman demeanor of people in our country towards the environment. In the first scene itself, we hear the mailman telling the sweeper that ” Mohandada, aap saf karte rahoge aur log kachra phenkta rahenge, Kuch nahi hoga is desh ka” which is a striking and a persuasive line and is bound to give a setback to the viewers of the advertisement.
The sweeper replies to the mailman by saying”Ho sakta hai bas thodi aur safai karni padegi” which is another vista statement around which the AD revolves. Also, we get to witness the mailman following the sweeper’s words by going to every doorstep in his locality and delivering letters on behalf of Bharat (World). The same letter which is delivered to everybody talks about the good deeds that people reading the letter had done to protect the environment. In other words, it is an appreciation and a thanking letter to all of them to make them realize the importance of keeping their surroundings clean.
At the end of the ad, we end up seeing the same people not committing their old mistakes and rather trying to keep the surroundings clean. A woman is seen dumping her dirtbag in the bin which shows the success of the initiative taken by the mailman.
Hence, It is not difficult to keep the environment cleansed provided we understand its importance. The video can be seen below:
