In the past year, there was a national outrage on a statement given by Aamir Khan on “growing intolerance” that stirred a whole storm of hate comments on him. Some of our fellow Indians without thinking for a minute started attacking at him by calling him a traitor and asking him to leave the country that had given him his current stature that he is enjoying. To all the bigoted people out there, Yes! Intolerance do exist in India like in every other country but not all are intolerant. And if someone says something that he feels, our so-called nationalist media modifies his words just to gain some TRP by presenting a hot flick to the wide audience. Slashing someone’s throat because he was doing something that is not stated in the religion or lynching a person for hurting some particular religious sentiments are the incidents that are happening over here, but to refer these I feel that “Intolerance” is not the correct word instead it should be “Religious Nazism”. However, in the past few years, riots on the basis of religion or ethnicity have been curbed down by a huge percent. So, it’s not India that is intolerant, but a few percent of the whole Indian population that is intolerant and is creating a bad image of our loved country because one can’t be Indian and intolerant at the same time.
Everyone focussed on intolerant India and our media enjoyed while people fought on this issue but let me take you on a tour of an India that the media will never show you and in last, you will take pride on being born or associated with such a great nation.
Namaste! 5000 saal purani sabhyata ki wajah se hum Hindustani sabko aise hi jhukke pranaam karte hai.
Aisi sabhyata jisme ek Catholic aurat Pradhan mantri ki kursi, ek Sikh ke liye chhod deti hai aur, ek Sikh, pradhan mantri pad ki shapat, ek Muslim raashtrapati se leta hai, uss desh ki baag dor sambhalne ke liye jisme 80 pratishat log Hindu hai.
Angreji puri duniya mein sabse zyada hamare hi desh mein ghasi jaati hai. Aur aapko shaayad ye bhi nahi pata hoga ki Angreji ki zyaadatar shabd, Sanskrit se liye gaye hai. Sanskrit ka shabd “maatra”, Angreji mein “mother” bana, “bhratra” bana “brother”, “gaamiti” bani “geometry”, aur “trikonmiti” bani “trigonometry”.
Aapko shayad ye baat dilchasp lage ki hamare yahaan 21 bhashao mein, 5,600 akhbaar aur 3,500 magazines chapti hai, jinko padhne waalo ki sankhya 12 crore hai. Baki deshon ke muqable mein kayi zyaada hai.
Chaand tak pahunch gaye hum. Lekin ab bhi logon ko hum Hindustaniyon ke haath mein saap ki been hi nazar aati hai.
Doctors, engineers aur scientists ki ginti mein Janaab hum sirf do mulko se peeche hai.
Ye thi dimag ki baat, ab karte hai taakat ki. Duniya mein sabse badi teesri fauj hamare yaha hai. Phir bhi, hum aapke saamne jhuk ke aapko pranaam karte hain, kyun ki hum kisi ko apne aap se chhota ya kamzor nahi samajhte. Namaste!
