The Shiny Impact

The Shiny Impact

The mere word Bollywood compels us to connect to so many emotions at one, happy, sad, tragic it really is the magic box of emotions. In a country like India, Bollywood has become the part and parcel of our lives. Each day the curiosity and the eagerness to know more and to watch more drives within us. Implicitly Bollywood has had substantial impact on our lives and the sad part is we are still oblivious to it.

The impact of Bollywood on the normal human life is so severe that it starts influence the common man to think more on his way of artificial living decided by others rather than the natural way of living. In every other corner the number of people who want to enter to stardom is numerous, and this fact itself is completely preposterous. The big determination into acting classes, body building, and dance classes’ takes toil in common man’s heart. But still the chance of making it through still hangs in the balance.

Bollywood has its own perception about everything and also towards it projection about certain social issues. As we are from a conservative culture sometimes there are some aspects of the society projected which are considered to be taboo and eventually Bollywood has always been on the receiving end of the criticism but a pinch still thinks that each one has the right to express their thinking and their mentality. And this one thing is a barrier which always haunts the industry about making films on certain topics.

What people need to understand is Bollywood is work of fiction and they shouldn’t go as to what they see in a Friday premier, as they as everything that glitters is not gold. The utter lust of people to adapt to the lifestyle projection of what is shown in Bollywood makes people running around. One should realize people should stop chasing illusions and be happy and comfortable in what they are living in.

Ever since the dawn of Bollywood, it has always been keen on trying to improvise the societal thinking and mentality of some social issues. Living examples of this includes movies like Padman (Which showcase menstrual hygiene and awareness) , Toilet(Which showcase the importance of having a toilet and problem caused by open defecation) and the list keeps pilling up. And this is where Bollywood has always had a upper hand when it comes to change your perception about something which has a substantial importance in the society. And the goal is always to bring a change in the society and the struggle of Bollywood still continues with every movie that opens up at the box office every Friday.
