reluctance to promises

reluctance to promises

The word memory as such its just a word but makes us crave the most. Lost in the thunders of past, reluctant to make someone a part of me and then came he, a person who was suffering to the worst, a cancer patient yet full of hope to live as well as how surprising it is when someobe who can’t himself count his breathes made a proposal and I demolished all the walls for him and then fought the battle together and here are we, engaged living together since years. Still that first time when he was on his knee holding my hand looking in my eyes with a shiver all around skips a beat randomly. The moment when i held him tight was not just a hug that was a gesture to say now you can’t ever think of leaving me here to fight all alone, he too kept his promise fought all the exteam of pain just to keep that little finger knot, we used to call that pinky promise.
