That dark night

That dark night

On a gloomy clouded evening, as I was returning home, I was the solitary passenger waiting at the deserted bus stop. Not one soul wandered in the vicinity. A chilly prospect for a 20 year old woman. As I looked on, I noticed a silhouette of a woman at a distance around 100 metres. Clad in red drape round her you could hardly see the face. I, for once, out of sheer curiosity went after her. As I reached closer she started moving away from me. As I got closer, she started moving faster. I just wanted to see her face, ask her name.

I yelled at her to stop. She didn’t. In some few seconds, I grabbed her shoulder and turned her towards me.

I woke up.

I was sleeping at the bus stop.
