The unsung hero.

The unsung hero.

Some call him the hero, while some call him the worst part of their life. A father, is that integrated part of your life, and memory which you wouldn’t want to eradicate. Life brings you plenty of problems, which are equally solved by both of your parents. Is there a moment, where you missed your father and realised how wonderful it would be to have him there?. Stream of scenarios in life, ranging from fights in school to the point where the whole world left you all alone to face the phase you wouldn’t want to and your parents putting up a brave front, fighting the entire world just to make you feel they stand with you. True enough, a mother will never ever let the child sleep hungry, but there is someone who refused to give up and worked with all his strength in order to provide a meal at home. We can never ever distinguish the best among our parents. When I was a child, I had more love for my mother than for my father as he stored anger and beatings for me when I didn’t study. While I grew up, I realised the beatings and scolding has what made me stand out from the crowd. Even after knowing the intensity of love for mother was more than that for him, he never hated me, he never failed to encourage me when I was lacking the self belief, this is the love made to me by my father. I called him the worst dad, he took it with a smirk. Called him mad, he worked supremely hard to just to make me stand on my feet. I didn’t dream a lot, but little did I know this man who worked 9 hours daily also worked in his sleeps by dreaming of making his son stand out from the herd, this was his motivation. All our life, we completely fail to understand how much and what amount of love our parents have for us. He would rather wear a torn shirt, but wouldn’t hesitate to pay the bill of a shirt which is twice the amount of what he had managed to earn by working all day long, he is my dad. The forgotten hero of my life yet the precious one, my father. Just for a day, imagine yourself to be without father, yes mom is admirable and a rigid support, but would the life be so effortless as it seems with the infinite support of a father? For a son, including his dreams, higher education in quality university and a lifestyle in reference to the running world which a father mustn’t have lived are the priorities. While,  of daughter the demands are same, but here a father makes sure that nobody puts an evil eye on his little world. What else could be more worse than the child who hasn’t seen the father while growing up from an early age? How the life must have been for a wife who has lost her husband at the time where she needed him the most? Taking all scenarios into consideration, a father is equally responsible to your survival as is your mother. If a mother has been feeding you, the father has made sure there is no shortage to the food made available. As a daughter you are protected from the evil sight by father first than by a brother or husband. Life to many could be unimaginable without the father. Meanwhile some of us could be sick of his caring and calls when you are getting home late as per the given time, then there are people who miss the caring and wish for the call atleast once by him in their entire life, sad and unfortunate it wouldn’t be granted. So, while you have your father around you, appreciate him to fullest, never ever let him down. Make him realise the dream he dreamt can be achieved. What ever happens you are no longer to give up on his anger. Love him, admire him. Never know the moment when the time would pass away and you are left without the hero of your life, a father certainly.
